We're the West Island's low-mow lawn and eco garden experts.
Picture a yard you mow a lot less, and the bees use. Learn how at a workshop, plant it yourself with us coaching, or hand the whole job over.

Three ways to start
How much do you want to do yourself?
Workshops
Learn to plant your yard in one morning.
Each workshop has a theme and room for twelve. You plant something before you leave, and you go home with seed from our beds and a plant list made for your yard.
Next workshop: Saturday 3 April 2027, then every three weeks through the season. Season passes available.
Coaching
Plant it yourself, with a pro beside you all season.
We write you a report for your yard, with the plant list and the steps to take, and visit every month from May to September. Your questions get answered between visits, so you don't spend money on plants that won't make it.
Reports are written over the winter, ready for spring planting.
Low-mow lawns and gardens
We work with the lawn you have, or turn it into a garden.
We start with the lawn you already have and seed clover, fescue and wildflowers into it, so you mow less than once a month. A mixed lawn holds up better than a single kind of grass, and pollinators use it. If you want more, we turn part or all of it into a garden that looks planted in its first summer. No digging, no chemicals.
We take six garden conversions a season, and 2027 is booking now.

The Flight Path Garden
Come and walk through our garden.
Our yard in Dorval is our demonstration garden. Out front is a garden in its first summer beside a meadow and alternative-lawn bed. Out back are a mini-forest growing since 2022, two rain gardens and a low-mow lawn on its way. Most of it is native to the St. Lawrence Lowlands, which is why it handles our winters without fuss.
We're Ian and Shawn. We built this garden ourselves, and we're the ones who'll show up at your place.
Free tours, one Saturday morning a month from May to November, eight people at most.
