Estimator

Price your yard in ten seconds.

Not sure of the size? Measure it one of three ways.

  1. One long step is about a metre.
  2. Pace the length and the width of the lawn.
  3. Multiply: 10 × 5 steps ≈ 50 m². Most West Island front lawns are 60 to 90 m².
Your approximate estimate $450–$550

Questions people ask first.

Will my town allow it?

We check the front-yard rules for your exact address before we plan anything, and set heights and setbacks to fit them.

Can I start with part of the yard?

Most people do, and so did we. One bed along the walk or a low-mow lawn on one side is a good first season.

Is it less work than a lawn?

Much less, once it's settled in. You skip the fertilizer, barely water, and mow less than once a month. The first summer does need some weeding.

Do you work in French?

Yes. Visits, workshops and plans run in English or French, and plant lists carry English, French and Latin names.

Visit the garden first.

Walk the Flight Path Garden on a free tour, one Saturday morning a month from May to November, eight people at most. Or tell us about your yard and hear back within two business days.
